About MeetKowalski
MeetKowalski began in 2023, not in a boardroom or with a big business plan, but around a kitchen table, with a laptop that had seen better days and a simple idea: let’s build something for ourselves. What started as a weekend project to create a website for our own small online store quickly became a deep dive into the world of web design, coding quirks, and that elusive “perfect layout” that never quite feels finished.
We spent countless evenings experimenting with colours, fonts, layouts — sometimes arguing over whether a button should be two pixels higher — and slowly, a sense of pride grew. Our little website wasn’t just functional; it started to feel alive. We didn’t realize it at the time, but we were laying the foundation for something much bigger than a simple online shop.
A few months later, something unexpected happened. A friend of a friend reached out and asked, “Hey, could you build a website like yours for my business?” We said yes — nervously at first — but by the time we’d finished, we realised that maybe, just maybe, this wasn’t just a one-off favour. Maybe we’d stumbled into something we truly loved doing.
And that’s how MeetKowalski was born. Not from a business plan, but from a hobby that got a little out of hand — in the best possible way. Since then, we’ve grown from designing for ourselves to building for clients across different industries, helping brands shape their online identities through clean, modern design and purposeful functionality.
We still approach every project with the same curiosity and excitement as that first one — the same late-night discussions, the same obsession over pixels and margins, and the same goal: to create websites that feel personal, intentional, and genuinely useful.
So yes, it all started as a side project. And like most good stories, it grew into something we never quite expected — a business built on creativity, caffeine, and the belief that a good website can make a small idea look like a big one.
